ДОМАНОВИЋИ - ПОРЕКЛО
Пореклом сам Шумадинац, а по очевој породичној лози старином и Херцеговац. Рођен сам у Овсишту, селу надомак Крагујевца, давне 1873. године. Ипак, детињство сам провео у селу Јарушицама, где се од давнина налази расадиште и колевка породице Домановић.
По мајци сам из значајне устаничке породице Цукића. Зато од детињства у себи носим слику јунака из српских устанака, која ми се никад није избрисала.Основну школу сам учио у свом селу, гимназију у Крагујевцу, а Велику школу у Београду.Као професор српског језика службовао сам у Врању, Пироту и Лесковцу. После само три и по године отпустили су ме из службе јер сам говорио против Владе на Конгресу професорског друштва. Почетком јесени 1898. прелазим у Београд, где тешко живим од новинарског и књижевног рада. Тада почињем и да се бавим сатиром...ЈОШ
